Ever since Elisabeth Hasselbeck left The View in 2013 to take on a role at Fox News, the show — whose hosts also include Sara Haines, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Paula Faris, and Sunny Hostin — was lacking a conservative opinion. That said, the show filled that voice by hiring Meghan McCain as a new co-host!

While some fans of the show think Meghan has fit the bill in that respect, don’t get us wrong. The 32-year-old is not blinded by her political beliefs… no one is safe. Even unafraid to criticize our current president, Meghan responded on Twitter to allegations that Donald Trump has been “physically mocking” her father in the midst of her 81-year-old dad’s brain cancer diagnosis. “What more must my family be put through right now? This is abhorrent,” she wrote. To learn more about the new co-host, scroll down!

After meeting a then-three-month-old Bridget in an orphanage, Cindy fell immediately in love. Bridget was born with a severe cleft palate that limited her ability to eat. Fearing for the baby’s life, Cindy negotiated with officials and took Bridget to the US. The airport was where John found out they were adopting a baby. “I remember John’s face. That day he was not the tough war hero senator. He was like every other new father, full of love and emotion,” John’s former aide Wes Gullet once said.
