Grey Sloan Memorial needs to make room for one more! Last year, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that One Tree Hill alum Joy Lenz is joining the Grey's Anatomy cast for a guest role in Season 14. This is big news for fans of the medical drama considering the show just sent off Martin Henderson (who played Nathan Riggs). Joy will play a new character named Jenny, and now she's spilling about what fans can expect from the exciting role.

"It's a great character. It's a really important storyline," she told Entertainment Tonight. "I think it's something that will really resonate with a lot of people, [because] it's an issue that a lot of people don't talk about openly. So I think it will be really important."

If you watch the new Grey's promo closely, you can see Joy in the background next to Jo Wilson's abusive ex-husband. "I can't tell you more because I'll get fired!" she jokingly added. "It was just such a thrilling opportunity that came my way. I mean, to get in that environment is incredible. They're all so supportive."

But, this isn't the actress' first introduction to Shondaland. She was originally cast in Shonda Rhimes' (now-canceled) show, The Catch. The show decided to go in a different direction after shooting the pilot, so we can only imagine how happy the actress is to be back. She initially shared the news to her Instagram writing, "I'm SO excited to be a part of this wonderful show for a while. It's a television institution and I couldn't be more grateful to have been invited."

Her One Tree Hill co-star and former Chicago P.D. star Sophia Bush was eager to wish her good friend congratulations. She commented, "Yaaaaaaas babe!!" on her Instagram post. And the post quickly racked up over 100,000 likes and over 10,000 comments. It looks like her fans are looking forward to her new gig!

The 36-year-old star is best known for her portrayal of Haley James Scott on the hit teen drama, One Tree Hill. In the show, she played a witty, smart, all-around "good girl" who grew up on the series over the course of nine seasons. Her character's relationship with Nathan Scott was the central love story on the show and caused fans to go crazy over the "Naley" romantic moments. At least we know she has experience with crazy drama and love triangles. We can't wait to meet Jenny this season!
