Private Practice alum Kate Walsh stars in the new FX mini-series Fargo, based on the 1996 Oscar-nominated film of the same name, and admits she once experienced a "very Fargo" night in jail during her youth!
Although Kate was never caught up in a murder (we hope!) like the characters in the dark comedy, she did get thrown in the clunker for some rowdy behavior.
While playing Two Truths and a Lie on the Today show set, the actress revealed she "once spent the night in jail for throwing a cue ball through a mirror at a bar in Chicago."
We're pretty sure Dr. Addison Montgomery would not approve!
"In my foolish youth in Chicago, I was with a friend...We maybe had a couple drinks," the 46-year-old explained.
"We were playing pool, and I don't know…things got out of hand. I decided to stop the madness by throwing a cue ball through a mirror.
"It was very Fargo, actually," Kate added. "That was a night I'll never forget."
