After three divorces and a battle with addiction, Tom Arnold has finally found happiness.
In an exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, the True Lies star, 56, shares how fatherhood has changed him. "[Fatherhood] certainly brings out the best in me. You tend to look at everything a little differently. When it was just me, I didn’t care as much or have a long view of life.”

“Before, I was looking for some kind of unconditional love that doesn’t exist, except from your mother or children,” Tom tells Closer. “Now I get that from my son.”
And there’s more where that came from: After 23 rounds of in vitro fertilization to conceive a second child, Tom and his wife, Ashley, are expecting a baby girl this fall.
“I’m over the moon and very relieved,” Tom shares. “I was hoping for a girl because we have a boy, so it’s pretty perfect.”

Things are not always perfect though with Tom and his wife, “IVF doesn’t lend itself to romance. When I have to go to a clinic at 7:00 a.m., it takes a bit of the thrill out of it," he laughs. The most romantic thing I’ve done for her is sleep-train our son, and she makes me gluten-free waffles.”
Still, Tom and Ashley are "very grateful" and remain a united front. “I want to stay married to Ashley forever. We’re in this together, no matter what.”
