Each co-host spoke about the importance of inward and outward beauty while addressing their little girls. In her heartwarming note, Savannah, 45, told her two-year-old daughter, Vale — whom she shares with husband Michael Feldman — why self-care is essential.
“My dearest Vale, I hope that as you grow, I can teach you to love and embrace the miraculous physical vessel that is carrying your magnificent heart and soul. Be kind to your body. Treat it well and respect it. This is the only one you’ll be getting,” the TV anchor — who is also mom to a six-month-old son, Charley — shared.
“Just so you know Vale, you are, in fact, quite beautiful. I love your crazy golden curls, your gigantic blue eyes, your sweet cheeks and that super-wattage smile that lights up the world. That is why I’m so very proud of you. Love, Mom," Savannah added.
Jenna — who is mom to daughters Mila, 4, and Poppy, 21 months, with husband Henry Hager — explained how uniquely special her children are. “To my darling girls, Mila and Poppy, I have never seen anything more beautiful than the two of you. You two will look in the mirror and not always like what you see," the 35-year-old began.
"But if Daddy and I do our jobs, you will look in the mirror and always like who you see,” she added. “So my precious babes, always, always know that just by being authentically you, you are more than enough. I adore you, my beauties. Mom.”
For her part, Hoda — who announced on the Today show in February that she adopted daughter Haley, now 3 months — explained how she will always support her baby.
“Dear Haley, Some thoughts about the perfectly put-together you: Your eyes, use them to see the good in people and in each day. Your smile, share it often. Your belly, it will be tickled by the pom poms I will be shaking for you constantly,” she said, holding back tears.
“Your heart, listen to it. Follow it. Figure out what and who makes it beat faster. Your back, I have got always. Your soul, float next to mine forever. Now I’m going to hug your beautiful little being. Love, Mom," Hoda concluded her letter.
Earlier this year, Hoda similarly opened up about how motherhood has changed her life. “When I look at her, I see forever. I see past me. I see the future, which I guess I never saw,” she said said on Today. “I want her to know that she is loved by me, by family, and by everyone who's held her. I don't think she's going to know what to do with all the love.”
