Born at 26 weeks — about 3 months premature — Walker Pruett weighed just 1 pound, 3 ounces.

The "little man," as his parents call him, was so fragile, in fact, his mother couldn't hold him for the first five days. But as he remained in the hospital, Walker continued to grow stronger and healthier, now weighing more than 5 pounds at 3-months-old.

Before he was finally able to head home on day 80, Walker's transformation was documented daily by a team of volunteer photographers at Capturing Hopes Photography.

The studio was launched to gift special mementos to families with children in the hospital, and with dozens of photographs, Capturing Hopes was able to give Walker's parents a time-lapse video showing his incredible progress.

“It is really amazing to watch him grow," Walker's mom wrote on her blog of the adorable baby boy. Watch his transformation below!
