So cute! Expectant mother Melissa Ordway (aka Abby on The Young and the Restless) recently took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of her growing baby bump — and her sweet, one-year-old daughter, Olivia, made an appearance in the pic, too! "Someone wouldn’t go to sleep until 2:30 a.m. last night...💤The upside...? A super cuddly baby today💕," Melissa captioned the snapshot.
Just a few weeks earlier, the actress did one of the cutest gender reveals by using a montage of images of little Olivia in a shirt with a very special message on it. “It’s a girl!” she declared. “We are so excited that Olivia is going to have a little sister! Can’t wait for a house full of girls!”
Ordway has been using cute family photos to share baby news all the way since back in July when she announced her pregnancy with a fun group photo in front of a wall that reads "Made in LA." “We are thrilled to announce we are having a baby!” Ordway posted. Dad Justin Gaston (ex-Ben on Days of Our Lives) is holding Olivia, while Mom is holding her belly and a photo of the sonogram. “Baby Gaston #2 is due in January 2018!” she added.
Ordway and Gaston’s first child, Olivia, was born on April 30, 2016, and the family finalized her adoption on Feb. 27, 2017. Shortly after the big announcement, Ordway also shared a photo of her little angel wearing an adorable shirt that reads “Promoted to Big Sister” on it. “She’s going to be the best big sister,” the proud mom declared, adding the hashtag “#myheart”.
Although Gaston may not feel the same way as his wife about being the only guy in the house, we're sure he's just as delighted by the big news. We look forward to watching Ordway's baby bump grow as we head toward her January due date. It’s too early yet to tell exactly how Y&R will deal with the star’s pregnancy. Will they cover her bump or write it into the soap? Might Abby find herself expecting her own bundle of joy on screen? Stay tuned to find out! Congratulations to the entire happy family for a lifetime of happiness!
