The Waltons star sadly died on the evening of Tuesday, June 14 from unknown causes, according to a post published on her personal Facebook page. She was 83-years-old.

“Ronnie Claire passed peacefully in her sleep this evening,” the status read. “Our beautiful and extraordinary friend has peacefully made her final curtain call. Thank you all for your wonderful caring and support.”

The actress — who was most known for her portrayal of Corabeth on The Waltons — additionally appeared in Boone, Sara, Just in Time, Dynasty and more throughout her long and successful acting career.
