It’s been 12 years since The Devil Wears Prada hit theaters and die-hard fans of the film have, basically, been praying for a sequel ever since! Luckily, one of the movie’s stars, Emily Blunt, is also totally into the idea of bringing her beloved character, Emily Charlton, back to the big screen.

When asked during a new interview if she’d sign up for a Devil Wears Prada sequel, the 35-year-old actress exclaimed, “I mean if everyone wanted to do it, it would be cool… I’d be down!” Now we just have to get stars Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep on board, too!

Funnily enough, one of Emily’s Devil Wears Prada co-stars, Stanley Tucci, is now her brother-in-law. So does that mean the duo watches themselves with Miranda Priestly and the rest of the Runway clackers on a regular basis? Not really, but Emily and Stanley — who played Nigel Kipling — both remain major fans of the movie today.

“I think he saw [The Devil Wears Prada] again recently. He’s like, ‘It’s really funny,'” Emily told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s so funny because, you know, we don’t tend to talk about work that much. You know, actors don’t end up talking about work that much.”

In the film, Emily famously played the first assistant of Meryl’s character, Miranda, who worked as the Editor-in-Chief of the fictional NYC-based magazine, Runway. The pair has since starred side-by-side in two other movies with the latest being Disney’s highly-anticipated flick Mary Poppins Returns. According to Emily, she and Meryl work best together when they’re playing enemies. “We have really set a tone that we never play characters that like each other very much. And so we are continuing with that tradition in [Mary Poppins]. I don’t know if we could ever play like best pals in something. It’s just not what works for Meryl and I,” she joked.
