Rest in peace, Teddy Rooney.
The former child star and son of the late Mickey Rooney sadly died on Saturday, July 2 from an undisclosed illness in a California convalescent home, his sister Kelly confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. He was 66-years-old.
Teddy — who is known for guest-starring on TV shows Shirley Temple's Storybook, Wagon Train, The Rifleman, Lassie and McHale's Navy, among others — was one of Mickey's nine children. His mother, the late Martha Vickers, was married to Mickey from 1949 to 1951 and was the actor's third of eight wives.

During his showbiz career, Teddy starred alongside his famous father in the 1958 film Andy Hardy Comes Home and with his mother in a 1957 episode of Playhouse 90. He additionally appeared in movies It Happened to Jane and Seven Ways From Sundown.
