In the wake of his first Golden Globe win for his role in Creed, Sylvester Stallone is remembering his late son, Sage Stallone.
When asked by a reporter if he drew upon his own parenting experiences for his role in Creed, the 69-year-old actor stated he's strived to "respect" his son's memory following Sage's 2012 death from heart disease at age 36.

"Wow, that's a very heavy question," Sylvester replied, according to People, following his Golden Globe win. "Any time you can do things that are real, I think it's very, very helpful, and with my son, I want to respect his memory, and I think we did so."

Prior to his passing, Sage — whose mom is Sly's first wife, Sasha Czack — worked as an actor, film director, film producer and film distributor. He most notably costarred with his famous dad in 1990's Rocky V. Sylvester is also a father to son Seargeoh Stallone, 37 — with Sasha — and three daughters, Sophia, 19, Sistine, 17, and Scarlet, 13, with wife Jennifer Flavin.
