Susan Sarandon and boyfriend Jonathan Bricklin are still going strong after four years together, though the typically tight-lipped actress recently addressed criticism regarding their 31-year age gap.
"It's the soul of a person that interests me," Susan told U.K. magazine Hello! "When you are in love, the question of age, sex, color no longer hold any importance."
The unlikely duo first met on a trip to Chile in early 2010, several months after the Thelma & Louise star ended her 23-year relationship with actor Tim Robbins.

Apart from their romantic involvement, Jonathan and Susan are also partners in SPiN, a trendy chain of ping-pong lounges in New York City. As the 68-year-old puts it, "Our collaboration extends into several areas."
The Oscar winner also admitted that unlike a lot of long-term partners, the pair do not live under the same roof. "We're not an ordinary couple," she told the mag, confirming what a source previously told Closer about the duo.
"Susan and Jonathan spend most of their time together, although she has no desire at this point to move in with him," an insider told us. "[She] couldn't care less about what people think of her dating a 37-year-old."

While not much has changed in Susan's love life, the performer recently took on a new role, that of grandmother.
Eva Amurri Martino, the actress' daughter with ex Franco Amurri, gave birth to daughter Marlowe Mae on Aug. 9. A source told Closer that the Tammy star will definitely pass along her fun-loving spirit to Marlowe.
"Susan will teach her about all kinds of crazy things and take her traveling. She will be very hands-on!" the insider said at the time.
