Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have babies on the brain!
After two months of searching, the 'Modern Family' star, 42, and her 38-year-old fiancé have found a surrogate to carry their first baby, according to a new report.
“It was hard, because Sofia wanted to make sure that the woman was someone she could trust,” said an insider. “Sofia is friends with this woman and spends a lot of time with her so she can watch the pregnancy firsthand as if it were her own.”

While another source said the reason Sofia — who is already mom to Manolo, 23, from her first marriage — won’t carry the baby herself is “a closely guarded secret,” the newly engaged couple aren’t hiding their excitement over having a child together.

“Sofia’s said from day one that Joe is the perfect dad,” added the source. “They can’t wait to be parents.”

Last month, an insider revealed Sofia and Joe — who became engaged in December 2014 after six months of dating — would use a surrogate, but the baby will be their biological child, conceived with her egg and his sperm.
In 2013, the actress opened up about freezing her eggs in the hope of having more children in the future. “I just wanted to plan ahead. Nothing happens that naturally anymore. I wanted to take advantage of science," she told 'Good Morning America.'
