Rumors have recently been swirling that the 20-year-old Olympic gymnast is engaged. But, the marriage gossip is untrue — and Simone recently took to social media to confirm she doesn't have a fiancé!

After eagle-eyed fans noticed Simone often wears a pretty, diamond bauble that resembles an engagement ring, the Dancing With the Stars competitor set the record straight on Instagram.

"???? (It's my right hand. Not engaged)," she captioned a cute, black and white selfie — in which she's flaunting her ring! — posted in early April.

"You scared me, I was getting ready to cry," one of Simone's 3.5 million Instagram followers commented on the pic with another adding, "You know you've made it when you have to let the world know you're not engaged when you post a pic with a ring on."

Not only is Simone not engaged, she recently admitted she's still relatively inexperienced when it comes to dating! "I have never had a boyfriend in my life," she told [Entertainment Tonight](http://www.etonline.com/news/214697simonebilesadmitsshehasonlybeenononeproperdate/)_. "At 20 years old I feel like you should have gone through those things and gone on dates. I have been on like, maybe one proper date."

Though Simone isn't ready to tie the knot, her DWTS partner, Sasha Farber, sure is! The 33-year-old pro dancer proposed to co-star Emma Slater, 28, during a live Dancing With the Stars episode back in October 2016.

"Baby, I've wanted to do this for such a long time. I love you so, so much," Sasha said before getting down on one knee. "Will you marry me?" After Emma said "Yes!" the two embraced as streamers dropped onstage around them. So cute!

Days later, Emma took to Instagram to show off her stunning engagement ring from Sasha. "I can't believe that's my finger wearing the second most beautiful thing I've ever seen!" the TV star captioned the video.
