Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne’s Marriage Is “1,000 Percent Better” One Year After Their Split

More than year after their marriage almost ended in divorce, Sharon Osbourne and Ozzy Osbourne are happier than ever. While appearing on Sharon’s daytime talk show [The Talk](https://www.cbs.com/shows/thetalk/)_ on Wednesday, Nov. 8, Ozzy confessed their relationship is “1,000 percent better” today. The 68-year-old rocker continued, “It’s a journey, really, a marriage. You go up, you go down, you make mistakes… I’ve learned a lot this year.”

Sharon, 65, and Ozzy previously announced their separation after 33 years of marriage in May 2016 after reports emerged that the Black Sabbath star cheated on his wife with a much-younger hairstylist named Michelle Pugh. However, a few months later, Sharon took Ozzy back and publicly confirmed they were mending their relationship. “Yes, [we are back together]. It’s been very hard… He’s very embarrassed and ashamed about his conduct,” she said in July 2016.

“I forgive, [but] it’s going to take a long time to trust. But you know, we’ve been together for 36 years, 34 of marriage, and it’s more than half of my life and I just can’t think of my life without him… Even though he is a dog! A dirty dog! So there you go… He’s going to pay for it though, big time,” Sharon added. Ozzy similarly opened up about his marriage to Sharon during an appearance on Good Morning America. “It’s back on track again,” he said. “[Our split was just a] bump in the road.”

Just last month, Ozzy additionally dished on his romance with Sharon in a candid interview with Rolling Stone magazine. When asked about the secret to a happy marriage, the singer quipped, “Don’t get caught with your mistress.” He continued, “It’s a rock and roll thing — you rock and you roll. You take the good with the bad. When I was a crazy f–ker, I’m lucky she didn’t walk out. Now I’m coming on five years clean and sober, and I’ve realized what a f–king idiot I was. I mean, I’m still nuts, but in control of it a bit more… When I said, ‘Don’t get caught by your missus,’ I’m not proud of all that sh-t.” We’re so glad to hear Ozzy and Sharon’s marriage is back on track!
