Sharon Osbourne can no longer stand to ask husband Ozzy Osbourne for money.
The Talk presenter — who is also the rocker's manager — shares she has learned the value of making her own income and buying things on her dime.
"When [Ozzy and I] first got together [in 1979], I didn't have anything, I'd lost everything," Sharon admits.
"I was absolutely on the verge of bankruptcy. I had two suitcases, that was it. The first 15 years, if I wanted something, I would ask Ozzy for it," she explains. "If I wanted a dress, if I wanted a pair of shoes, whatever it was, I would ask him."
But the now 61-year-old says, "I got to the point where I said, 'I can't do this anymore, it just doesn't sit right with me. I'm going to do something else, as well as work for him, where I can earn a steady income for myself, for my own dignity.'"
And the mom-of-three says Ozzy found it "very hard" to feel comfortable with her paying her own way, but is now proud of her achievements.

"At first, it was very hard, for a man who was used to supplying everything for his family, but now he's got used to it," she tells UK TV show Loose Women.
"He's very very proud, he's like, 'You know what my wife's doing today?' Nobody cares, but he's very supportive and proud now."
