For the 20th season of Dancing with the Stars, professional dancer and choreographer Sharna Burgess is sharing her inside scoop with 'Closer' readers — everything from show highlights and behind the scenes secrets to her experience dancing with Army veteran and double amputee, Noah Galloway! Read her week six blog post below.
What an incredible night it was for Team Shway! We got our first 10 from the judges — so exciting! The night's dance theme was 'Eras Night,' and when I got the 1970s I wasn't excited. But I love James Brown and decided to make the dance more funk than disco. We had so much fun, especially with those costumes!

The hardest part of this past week was Noah channeling his '70s character and radiating his personality during the dance. Being able to let go on a dance floor isn't easy — and we've worked hard on that all season. But he always pulls through and performs above and beyond what is expected.

Noah wants to continue on in the competition so badly — I couldn't ask for a better partner. One of my favorite moments from the past week was when I came to rehearsal to find out that Noah had arrived early to practice his steps by himself. He makes me so proud!

Next week's dance theme is 'America’s Choice' — we'll be dancing the Tango to 'Geronimo' by Sheppard. I'm so happy we get to dance another traditional ballroom dance! There are also trio dances next week, and we have Emma Slater as our partner.
We are so looking forward to next Monday and will continue working to make our fans proud! Thank you for all the love and support for Team Shway — it's what keeps us going!
