This week turned out to be one of my favorite moments on 'Dancing with the Stars.' While putting this routine together through the week, I really struggled to find choreography that I was happy with and that I felt was right for Noah's story.

I always knew I wanted to use the mirror to emulate him transitioning from the man he was to accepting the man he is today, but finding the right way to tell his story had me stumped... until about Friday! After watching the dance back last night, I feel like we nailed it. Noah truly took his dancing to new levels.

I was super hard on him this week because I know what he is capable of and I wanted to push him for greatness. Between Noah having a sprained wrist AND the fact that I kicked one of his teeth out (OMG... so mortifying), he was such a trooper. He took in everything that I had taught him about bringing emotion and really delivered during Monday night's performance.

I flew out his parents as a surprise for him this week. I couldn't have him experience this moment without having the two people who have been there through everything. The "Most Memorable Year" dance theme is always epic and this week certainly lived up to that expectation. I was emotional — almost lost it at the end of the performance! — and I know Noah was fighting back tears when Len Goodman asked everyone to stand for him. Wow... what a night to remember.
