Wow, what a week and what a roller coaster it was!
Samba is a tough dance, especially in week two, but I will say I’m glad to get it out of the way! At the start of the week, I was really struggling to find the right choreography for the song and for Noah. I just didn’t like anything I was creating and got really frustrated with myself, which of course only works against me.
Noah and Sharna on ‘DWTS’ week two!
Country music isn’t generally a samba, and we had to slow it down a bit for Noah, so all of my go to’s and my usual feel for samba were out the window! But not to worry! There’s always a new day and after having the song on repeat and thinking it through, I certainly found my groove with it. I ended up loving the routine, the way the troupe were involved and, most importantly, the way I saw more of Noah’s fun and sexy personality coming through. Oh… and those abs… hello!
Everyone was so amazing on the live show that it is really hard to pick a favorite. I was super impressed by Rumer and Val, Riker and Allison, and Derek and Nastia. Not to mention, I absolutely LOVED Artem and Patti. What a woman Patti is, with so much sass and grace oozing from her.

Of all the incredible moments last night, I have to say the one that got me the most was when Noah’s beautiful girlfriend, Jamie Boyd, ran up and surprised him! I had absolutely no idea and this is honestly one of the most gorgeous moments I have seen on ‘DWTS’ yet. I ended up backing away to let them have their moment and their own space. What a precious memory to have. Aren’t they the most awesome couple ever?!

Next week it’s Argentine Tango! Guess what that means… lifts! Yay! I’m already excited about what is developing creatively and I feel like seeing Noah in this character will be an awesome change from the last two weeks. We are using a prosthetic arm for this one, which will mean a lot of trial and error and seeing what can work!
Love you all and I know you are going to be so proud of Noah, just like I am.
