Calling all Twin Peaks fans!

To get excited for the reboot of the popular series — the two-hour premiere aired this past Sunday, May 21 — we're taking a look at the show's iconic cast then and now!

It's been 27 years since the drama series first hit TV screens, and now, Showtime is showing a revival of the hit series, which will now star Kyle MacLachlan, Sheryl Lee, Kimmy Robertson, Russ Tamblyn, and more! Twin Peaks lasted two seasons from 1990 until 1991 on ABC, and news of the reboot broke in October 2014. So yes, we've been waiting for a long time!

At the time of the reboot news, Kyle shared, "I'm very excited to return to the strange and wonderful world of Twin Peaks. May the forest be with you."

However, director David Lynch pulled out of the project in April 2015. The new series picks up where the original left off, with an FBI agent investigating the murder of the homecoming queen n in their small town of Twin Peaks. "After one year and four months of negotiations, I left because not enough money was offered to do the script the way I felt it needed to be done," he wrote at the time.

But the show must go on, and that it did! You can catch Twin Peaks Sundays at 9:00 p.m. EST on Showtime.
