Sebastian Maniscalco Loves to Make His Kids Laugh! Learn All About the 2019 VMA Host’s 2 Children
Aww! Sebastian Maniscalco‘s love for his kids knows no bounds. The beloved comedian has brought much joy to our lives over the years thanks to his hilarious stand-up jokes and gaggles. However, fans have been especially excited about getting to see the Green Book actor become a caring and dedicated father.
The 46-year-old — who is hosting the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday, August 26 — is the doting daddy to his adorable 2-year-old little girl Serafina Simone Maniscalco and his sweet 2-month-old son Caruso Jack Maniscalco with longtime wife Lana Gomez. Sebastian became a father for the very first time after welcoming his first child in May 2017.
Although the arrival of their first child was exciting enough, Sebastian actually revealed that his daughter is also carrying on a family legacy. “Serafina was my grandmother’s name, Simone is Lana’s mom and Serafina Simone is our baby girl!” the Stay Hungry author gushed in the caption following her birth.
The couple — who tied the knot in 2013 — recently welcomed their second child in mid-June. Sebastian took to Instagram at the time to share the most adorable pic of his two kids. “Look what we got!! Caruso Jack Maniscalco,” he captioned the photo of Serafina sporting a huge smile while holding her newborn brother in her lap. So cute!
Since becoming a father of two, Sebastian has been loving life. Besides documenting his adventures with his kids — which include hanging out on tour buses, traveling the country for stand-up shows, cooking in the kitchen and much more — the Sebastian: Live star has also been soaking up every minute of being a dad to a newborn son.
At the time of his arrival, Sebastian opened up about fatherhood and gave a sweet update on his little man. “Baby boy is doing great! At almost 2 weeks old, he’s got a full head of dark hair and eating like a great white!” The Irishman actor hilariously told People. He even dished the meaning behind his adorable moniker.
“We’d been thinking about the name Caruso for a while,” the Illinois native explained. “Lana and I stayed at Hotel Caruso on the Amalfi coast on our honeymoon and loved it. When we learned it actually means ‘boy’ in Sicilian, it sealed the deal!” We love how Sebastian’s kids make him beam with joy!
