Savannah Guthrie has announced exciting news!
Thr 45-year-old Today host took to Instagram on Wednesday, Feb. 22 to confirm she will be returning to the NBC morning show on Friday, March 3.
She posted a sweet selfie with her infant son, Charley, and captioned the pic, "Hey, little one, you're not the only good reason to wake up early! I'm headed back to @TODAYShow March 3! Excited to see you all!" How sweet!
We can't wait for Savannah to reunite with her co-stars next month. The morning news anchor's announcement comes just weeks after rumors surfaced that Megyn Kelly could be taking over her role on the show.
"There is a rumor on set that Megyn would eventually get the lead anchor role on Today, pushing Savannah out," a source revealed.
However, an NBC executive clarified the rumor by stating, "We just signed Savannah to a massive deal that is longer than Megyn’s. A lead anchor role at Today isn’t part of the conversation for Megyn."

But, little Charley isn't the only new Today baby! Hoda Kotb tearfully revealed she adopted a baby girl on Today on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
"I do have something to tell you," Hoda said while calling into the hit morning show. "But, you know what, how about this — instead of telling you, I'm going to show you something. Do you have a picture you can put up for me? It's a baby girl!"
We couldn't be happier for the Today family!
