Eleven years after she left Carrie Bradshaw and 'Sex and the City' behind on HBO, Sarah Jessica Parker is returning to the premium television network to appear on a new sitcom!
The 50-year-old actress has signed on to both executive produce and star in Divorce — an upcoming series about a couple's very drawn-out separation — 'Deadline' confirmed on Thursday, April 16.

In the show, Sarah Jessica will portray Frances, a woman who realizes getting a fresh start after splitting with her husband (played by Thomas Haden Church) is much more difficult than she ever imagined.

Molly Shannon and Talia Balsam have also signed on to star in the half-hour comedy as Frances' girlfriends Diane and Dallas, respectively.
Filming for 'Divorce' is set to begin this year in NYC.
