Best actress nominee Sandra Bullock opened up about her life and career in a recent interview, saying she "owes everything" to Gravity.
Despite starring in dozens of box office hits over the years, Sandra said the recent blockbuster has been the highlight of her career.
Speaking with NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams, the actress described filming the movie as "one of the most profound and exciting experiences I have ever had -- as an actor, as a woman, someone the age I was."
The 49-year-old has received critical acclaim for her role in the film and is hotly tipped to win Best Actress at this year's Oscars, which take place on March 2.
Best Director nominee Alfonso Cuarón joked this week there may have been a different outcome for Sandra's character Dr. Ryan Stone.
"We had an alternative ending in which after landing on Earth, Ryan will get back on her feet and as she’s walking away Matt Kowalski (played by George Clooney) falls from the sky and crushes her to death.
"And then cut to black. Create scroll in silence,” he said.
The interview with Sandra Bullock will air tonight on NBC Nightly News.
