Though the exes are embattled in a custody battle over their two-year-old daughter, a new report claims Rosie O'Donnell saved Michelle Rounds' life after she attempted suicide earlier this week.
According to TMZ, the 53-year-old actress stayed on the phone with Michelle, 43, until EMT's arrived to take her to the hospital on the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 22 after Michelle overdosed on prescription pills.

Rosie had allegedly heard Michelle wanted to end her life and called her to talk her out of killing herself. While the two were on the phone, the former The View host contacted authorities, who then found Michelle at a hotel in Nyack, NY.

"Michelle wouldn't be alive today without Rosie's intervention," a source told the entertainment news outlet of the former couple.
Rosie and Michelle previously tied the knot in 2012 and are parents to an adopted daughter, Dakota. "Michelle was very depressed lately over the divorce and custody battle with Rosie. In fact, in the past few days her and Rosie spoke and they had a bitter argument," another source told Radar Online, adding Michelle's attempt at suicide may be a "cry for help."
