Rosie O'Donnell is going through a tough time.
According to a new report, the 53-year-old TV star is "extremely depressed" after her adopted daughter Chelsea, 18, made startling claims about living under her famous mom's roof in a recent tell-all interview.

During her sit-down with the Daily Mail earlier this month, Chelsea revealed Rosie has a much different public persona than how she acts at home.

"I find her not genuine a lot of the time. When we'd go out, she was a completely different person in public than at home and I had a hard time with that," she said, adding she feels a closer bond to her childhood nannies than her adoptive mother.

"Things were good when I was younger but as I got older, I became more interested in knowing about my birth parents and didn't really get along with Rosie very well," Chelsea added.
Chelsea is one of three children Rosie and her ex-wife Kelli Carpenter adopted together. The former The View co-host is also a mom to two other kids; she adopted a son as a single mom and adopted a daughter with her now-estranged wife, Michelle Rounds. Chelsea's bombshell interview about her upbringing with the star came just weeks after Chelsea went missing and subsequently left home to live with her birth mother in Wisconsin.
