Rosie O'Donnell's estranged wife, Michelle Rounds, was hospitalized on Tuesday night after reportedly attempting to commit suicide.
According to Radar Online, Michelle, 43, was rushed to the hospital after an unidentified caller contacted police over concerns for Michelle's wellbeing. Though her medical condition is unknown at this time, the news outlet claims she is still in the hospital under doctors' care.

“She had apparently taken some pills and drank wine,” an insider revealed. “It looked to be a suicide attempt."

Since Michelle and Rosie, 53 — who married in 2012 — announced their intention to divorce in February, the former couple have been embattled in a custody dispute over their adopted daughter, Dakota, 2.

"Michelle was very depressed lately over the divorce and custody battle with Rosie. In fact, in the past few days her and Rosie spoke and they had a bitter argument," the source said, adding Michelle's attempt at suicide may be a "cry for help."
