Just more than one week after Rosie O'Donnell's daughter was found safe after going missing, Chelsea has again left home — this time to go live with her birth mother.
“Chelsea made a decision when she turned 18 that she wanted to go to her birth mother," a rep for Rosie, 53, told Us Weekly. “This was her choice.”

According to TMZ, Chelsea — who turned 18 on Monday, Aug. 24 — will now reside with her biological mother, Deanna, in Wisconsin. Deanna previously placed Chelsea up for adoption in 1997 when she was an infant.

The entertainment news outlet further reports Rosie did not advise Chelsea to go live with Deanna and has consequently cut off her daughter financially. She is also allegedly refusing to provide the teenager with important documents, including her birth certificate or social security card.

Earlier this month, the mom-of-five posted a message on her official website revealing Chelsea was missing. "Nyack, New York police authorities have been looking for [Chelsea] in the Rockland County area since Sunday, August 16... Chelsea stopped taking her medicine and is in need of medical attention," the statement read.
One day later, Rosie took to Twitter to announce Chelsea had been found and was in police custody. It is now believed the former The View star's daughter voluntarily ran away from home to visit friend Steven Sheerer — a 26-year-old convicted heroin dealer whom Chelsea met online — at his house in New Jersey.
