Just more than two months after Rosie O'Donnell filed for divorce from her estranged wife Michelle Rounds, the former couple are now involved in a custody battle over their adopted daughter.
On Tuesday, April 28, Michelle, 43, reportedly filed legal documents requesting full custody of Dakota, 2, citing the move was in the child's "best interest."

"My client Michelle Rounds has decided to start proceedings for sole custody of their daughter Dakota, since it is unequivocally in their child’s best interest and general welfare," Michelle's lawyer, William D. London, revealed to 'Page Six.'

According to sources close to Rosie, 53, the TV personality is allegedly fighting back against her ex, claiming she is a "devoted mother," and Michelle's main aim in seeking custody of Dakota is money.

"Michelle can't even raise a dog... she's given multiple dogs away," an insider told 'TMZ.'
Rosie and Michelle split in November 2014 — five months before they publicly announced their separation and plans to divorce. The couple wed in June 2012 and revealed they had adopted their daughter, Dakota, in January 2013. The star is also a mom to sons Parker and Christopher and daughters Chelsea and Vivienne.
