Outspoken comic Roseanne Barr is heading back to TV! The Roseanne star will narrate a new documentary about mothers who will do anything, even commit crimes, to see their children succeed.
Momsters: When Moms Go Bad will air on the Discovery Channel beginning later this year, and already has a host of crazy stories in its arsenal.
For example, one half-hour episode focuses on "Texas Cheerleader Mom" Wanda Holloway, who tried to hire a hitman to kill the mother of her daughter's cheerleading rival.
Another spotlights a soccer mom who stalks and attacks her son's coach and a theater mom who takes auditions into her own hands.
Roseanne, who is a fan of the network's other Investigation Discovery shows, is excited to provide commentary for the new series, admitting she already gives advice to mothers she deems "bad."
“I like to correct people when I don’t think they’re doing good mother things in public,” the 61-year-old shares, remembering the time she chastised a woman for pushing a bare-footed child in a stroller in 40-degree weather.

“It’s weird what people do and how everyone ignores it,” she says. “So this [show] is like let’s not ignore this for a while.”
The comedian, who got her start doing stand-up before starring on hit sitcom Roseanne for nine seasons, has a lot on her plate over the next few months, including a new gig judging NBC's revival of Last Comic Standing.
“I’m a stand-up comic — [I] just [wanted] to get back around that and see what new comics are doing so I can steal their material,” she jokes.
And Roseanne assures she'll continue to remain as outspoken as ever when it comes to her judging style.
“Losing my temper and swearing at people occasionally because they think they’re smarter than me. That makes me mad,” she says of what contestants can expect.
“That’s the same thing on the ID channel, too. Who do these people think they’re kidding? They should all be listening to me more, in my opinion.”
