Robin Wright has found the silver lining in her divorce from Sean Penn!
In a revealing new interview, the 48-year-old actress confessed her breakup from the 'Into the Wild' actor ultimately allowed her to get closer to her new fiancé, Ben Foster.
"I believe we were together not only to have our beautiful children but to learn how to love... for the next time around, the right way," the 'Forrest Gump' star said of her marriage to Sean, 54.

"I was pregnant and ostensibly married at 24," she recalled of their relationship, before explaining why she decided to take her husband's last name. "I [changed my name] really for my children because we'd had kids before we married, and I thought that we should all have the same name. That's traditional."
By December 2007, the duo's marital bliss began to fade and Robin filed for divorce. The couple later reconciled several times before officially calling it quits after 14 years of marriage in July 2010.
