Could this be a case of the past repeating itself?
Robert Downey Jr.'s eldest child Indio was arrested in West Hollywood when police noticed him smoking out of a pipe in a nearby vehicle.
After a Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy pulled the car over, cocaine was allegedly found in the 20-year-old's possession.
Indio — whose mother is Robert's ex-wife Deborah Falconer — was booked for possession of cocaine and released from jail after posting $10,000 bail.

The Iron Man actor, who also has a two-year-old son Exton with second wife Susan Levin, previously battled drug addiction himself and was arrested numerous times in the 1990s on drug-related charges.
In a statement to TMZ about his son's arrest, the 49-year-old said, “Unfortunately there's a genetic component to addiction and Indio has likely inherited it. Also, there is a lot of family support and understanding, and we’re all determined to rally behind him and help him become the man he's capable of being."
Robert adds, "We’re grateful to the Sheriff’s department for their intervention, and believe Indio can be another recovery success story instead of a cautionary tale.”
The Oscar nominee has previously referred to prison as a "safe" place. "When the door clicks shut, then you are safe. There is nothing aside from a rogue correctional officer that can do you harm if you have the right cellie," he explained.
"You are actually in the safest place on Earth. Safe from the intruders. From anything that might thwart the mortal coil."
If that's the case, maybe Robert should have left his son in the big house for a little while longer!
