May 10 wasn't just another Sunday for Rob Lowe — it marked the 25th anniversary of his sobriety.
"To those struggling with addiction, there is true, real hope. 25 years ago today, I found recovery; and a life of promise. #Grateful," the 51-year-old actor wrote to commemorate the accomplishment on his Twitter account.

In 1990, the Parks and Recreation star allegedly ended his abuse of drugs and alcohol in an effort to strengthen his relationship with his now-wife, Sheryl Berkoff.
Later on Sunday, Rob similarly took to social media to wish Sheryl, 53 — with whom he has two sons, Matthew, 22, and John, 20 — a happy Mother's Day.
