The couple previously tied the knot in 1989 and welcomed son Shelby in February 1990. Narvel — Reba’s former music manager — additionally has three older children, son Brandon Blackstock, 40, and daughters Shawna Blackstock, 43, and Chassidy Blackstock, 38, from his first marriage.

Narvel’s eldest son, Brandon, is now married to former American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson. The couple have two children, daughter River Rose Blackstock and son Remington Alexander Blackstock, together.

In a previous interview, Reba opened up about her divorce from Narvel and revealed the split wasn’t her idea. “I didn’t want it in any shape, form or fashion. So, it was really hard to make the adjustment when someone’s not happy. I just want everybody to be happy in their lives because our lives are too short to be miserable,” she said.

“I just thought it was the best thing to take my marbles and go play somewhere else, [that’s] what [my] daddy used to always say,” she continued.

“I’m going to keep on loving life. I’m going to keep making new friends. I’m going to call the ones I love in my life — my friends and family — a little more often and I’m going to keep on telling them how much they are loved,” the former Reba star said after her breakup.

“I look forward to what’s next. People always ask me, ‘What are you going to do next?’ Well, I dunno; God hasn’t told me yet,” she added.
