Stunning at 77! Hollywood icon Raquel Welch made a rare red carpet appearance in LA at PORTER's Incredible Women Gala on Wednesday, Nov. 1 — and we can't get over how drop-dead gorgeous the actress looks in the new pics! For the special outing, Raquel donned a form-fitting, three-quarter-length sleeved black dress with a plunging neckline. She accessorized the outfit with black pumps, simple gold jewelry, and a chic bag. Watch the video below to see the new pics of Raquel!

So, what's Raquel's secret to looking so radiant well into her 70s? Though she's never spoken out about her rumored plastic surgery — she's never denied it either — experts believe the actress may have gotten Botox to help maintain her youthful look. But, according to Raquel, her glowing and smooth skin is actually the work of a farmer-favorite ointment called Bag Balm.

"Bag Balm is kind of a silly thing. It’s used when they milk cows on their udders. It is something you can put on overnight and when you wake up you don’t have a dry, cracking mouth. Believe me, there are a lot of mummies walking around with Bag Balm," she once revealed. "I have beautiful skin — but people have told me that all my life, and when you have something special given to you, you want to take care of it," she said in another interview.

Though she looks amazing for her age, Raquel once exclusively told Closer Weekly that it's sometimes difficult to "look back" at photos of herself in her younger years. "It’s impossible to live up to your former self," she told us. Speaking about her rise to stardom in the 1960s, Raquel added she's proud that she gained fans by playing strong women on-screen — not just for being a sex symbol. "Back then, my image wasn’t sexualized. I didn’t feel I was being exploited. Sure, some of my publicity stills were sexy bathing suit shots, but my image was not overtly sexualized," she recalled.
