Anna Wintour has been called many things — “ice queen” chief among them — and it appears at least one fashion bigwig is admittedly terrified of the Vogue Editor-in-Chief.

Project Runway mentor, Tim Gunn, admits he has trouble facing the Brit ever since upsetting her in his four-year-old book, Gunn’s Golden Rules.

“I don’t look her in the eyes because I will be turned into stone,” the 60-year-old teased.

The drama between the two began when the white-haired fashion consultant wrote about an incident involving Anna being carried out of a New York fashion show after refusing to ride a public elevator.

“We ran over to [an] elevator bay to see if Anna would deign to get on. Then…what did we see but Anna being carried down the stairs…bodyguards had made a fireman’s lock and were racing her from landing to landing,” Tim wrote in his 2010 book.

The TV personality reveals “all hell broke loose” after his remarks were circulated by the media and “her office was insisting I print a a retraction,” he tells Page Six.

But Tim insists he’s ready to bury the hatchet whenever Anna is ready. “I wasn’t maligning her character,” he explains. “I was simply making a statement of facts. It didn’t say anything about her as a person.”
