Princess Diana will always be viewed as a style icon, and part of the credit goes to one of her all-time favorite dressers, Jacques Azagury.
The Moroccan-born stylist was first introduced to the People's Princess by former British Vogue Deputy Editor, Anna Harvey.
"My favorite memory of Princess Diana was her presence," Azagury tells the Daily Mail. The two soon forged a strong friendship and he worked with the royal until her tragic death in 1997.
"Another great memory was the sheer fun we had together, especially when it came to choosing her next look," he adds. "Diana had such a modern look rather than being very formal."

Due to his history with the blonde beauty, Azagury also worked closely with Naomi Watts when she portrayed Diana in a recent biopic. He even created a few costumes for the film out of the exact same material the princess wore.
"Naomi was a delight to work with," he recalls. "From the moment she walked in, she just completely understood I was dressing her like Diana, we worked very fast together and it was such an easy and enjoyable job."
So would Azagury be game to dress another popular royal, the Duchess of Cambridge? "Like any other designer, I would love to dress Kate," he enthuses.
With a plethora of celebrity clients like Helen Mirren, the designer says he loves making "a woman look great," but is all about dressing your age.
"Try not to look like your 15-year-old daughter," Azagury shares. "Dress age appropriate but not boring."
