According to a new WWD report, one-year-old Princess Charlotte's net worth to the UK economy is already estimated to be $4.6 billion.
Brand Finance — a British consultant firm that specializes in brand valuation — reported the "Charlotte Effect" has already brought billions of dollars to the UK since Kate Middleton and Prince William's daughter's May 2015 birth.

Most of the boost to the UK's economy comes from royal fans obsessively buying every piece of clothing Charlotte and her older brother, Prince George, are spotted wearing in official photos released by monarchy.

For example, British retailer My1stYears.com has noticed a drastic increase in sales of their soft booties after Charlotte donned a similar pair during the royal family's March 2016 ski trip. "We usually sell around 40 pairs of the pink fleece slipper booties in a week, but within 24 hours of the Princess Charlotte photo being released, 259 pairs had been bought," a company rep told the Daily Mail.
