Prince William is too sweet!
The Duke of Cambridge and his wife, Kate Middleton, visited the Child Bereavement UK center in London on Wednesday, Jan. 11. The space provides support for grieving children and their families.
William can sadly relate to the inspirational cause. His mother, Princess Diana, tragically died in a car crash 20 years ago when she was just 36-years-old. At the time of her passing on Aug. 31, 1997, William was just 15-years-old and his younger brother, Prince Harry, was only 12-years-old.

“Do you know what happened to me? You know I lost my mummy when I was very young too. I was and my brother was 12. So we lost our mummy when we were young as well. Do you speak about your daddy? It’s very important to talk about it, very, very important," the 34-year-old royal told a little girl during his visit who had recently lost her father to pancreatic cancer.
“It was really nice that he talked to me,” nine-year-old Aoife said, according to People. “It was like there are other people who know what it is like to lose someone.”

The girl's mother later opened up about William's touching chat with her daughter. “I couldn’t believe it when he started to talk about his mother," she said. "It was very emotional and I was willing myself not to start to cry. I almost did."
The charity's patron, Julia Samuel, gushed about the royal couple's visit. "[William and Kate] put people at their ease by being so warm and so open and cracking jokes,” she told the news outlet. “You can see the terror in peoples’ eyes as they walk in, and you can see that fall away within a few minutes as people realize they are normal. That is always kind of touching to see."
