Prince Harry Confesses He Suffered Panic Attacks Following His Mother Princess Diana’s Death

In a new interview with Forces TV, the red-headed royal opened up about a past struggle of his. Harry sadly revealed that he once suffered panic attacks following the death of his mother, Princess Diana.

In the video below, the 32-year-old described the difficult experience from when he was a little boy. This confession comes months after he admitted to going to counseling to deal with his mental health following Diana’s passing 20 years ago.

Harry also revealed that joining the Army and going to Afghanistan really helped him cope with his mother’s death.

“If you lose your mum at the age of 12, you have got to deal with it,” Harry began. “The idea that 20 years later I still hadn’t really… that 15, 17 years later I still hadn’t dealt with it. Afghan was the moment where I was like, ‘Right, deal with it.'”

“Once I plucked my head out of the sand, post-Afghan… it had a huge… life changing moment for me. It was like, right, you are… Prince Harry, you can do this, as long are you’re not a complete tit, then you’re gonna be able to get that support, because you’ve got the credibility of 10 years’ service and therefore, you can really make a difference,” he continued.
