How cute!

Janet Jackson is “so happy” to be a new mom to her baby son, Eissa, according to the 51-year-old singer’s longtime producer, Jimmy Jam.

“Janet is so wonderful. She is so happy. [Eissa is the] cutest baby in the whole history of babies,” Jam told Us Weekly on Thursday, June 22, adding the icon is thrilled to be working on new music.

“She’s re-echoing that now, and it’s a lot of fun,” he added. “She’s doing really well, but excited to get back on the road and get in front of the fans again.”

In late May, Life & Style revealed Janet is gearing up to bring baby Eissa on her State of the World tour this September. “Janet is putting together a full-time staff devoted to his care,” an insider told the magazine. “He’ll have a baby nurse, nanny, and bodyguard.”

Janet welcomed Eissa — her only child — with estranged husband Wissam Al Mana, 42, in early January. Janet and the Qatari businessman married in 2012 and sadly announced their split after nearly five years of marriage in April 2017.

Unfortunately, Wissam isn’t too eager for his infant son to join his famous mom on tour this fall. “He’s expressed concern about Eissa flying all over the country,” the source continued. “Taking the baby to different time zones, it will be hard to maintain a schedule.”

Notoriously private Janet recently took to Instagram to gush about her little boy amid her divorce. “Hey you guys, it’s me, Jan, just in case you don’t recognize me since I have put on quite a few since I had the baby,” she began the clip. “But I thank god for him, you guys, he’s so healthy, so beautiful, so sweet, so loving, such a happy baby.”

Janet then sadly confirmed her split from Wissam. “I just want to keep it real with you guys for a second,” she shared. “Yes, I separated from my husband. We are in court and the rest is in God’s hands.”

Prior to her son’s birth, Janet announced in April 2016 that she was postponing her Unbreakable world tour to start a family with Wissam. “We’re in the second leg of the tour, and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family. So I’m going to have to delay the tour,” she said at the time.

This fall, Janet will embark on a 56-city, North American tour beginning Thursday, Sept. 7 in Lafayette, LA. We’re so happy you’re back, Janet!
