Celebrities are wearing a new accessory at the Oscars this year — blue ribbons!
Loving star Ruth Negga not only looked stunning in her gown on the red carpet, but she took a stand for human rights by supporting The American Civil Liberties Union "Stand with ACLU" initiative. Ruth wasn't the only star to support the cause — Manchester By The Sea star Casey Affleck also sported the ribbon at this year's Film Independent Spirit Awards.

"We have been incredibly heartened by the outpouring of support for the ACLU from the entertainment community at large as we band together to protect and defend the rights and civil liberties guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution for everyone in this country," ACLU chief communications officer, Michele Moore said in a statement.
Hamilton star and Oscar nominee Lin-Manuel Miranda also wore a ribbon, as did his mother Dr. Luz Towns-Miranda, also showed their support for the ACLU.
We love that these celebs are taking a stand!
