Oprah Winfrey is getting candid about her recent 26-pound weight loss — and has revealed her opportunity to work with Weight Watchers has "felt like an intervention on high"!
"I wanted to be thin. I wasted so much energy, energy and time wanting my thighs to be thin, for my arms not to flap. I had the success and the money but I was still wanting something different than I had," the 62-year-old TV star said of her past struggles to lose weight during one of her recent Super Soul Sessions Saturday events in LA.

During the talk, Oprah additionally credited her past weight gain to the stress of hosting The Oprah Winfrey Show for more than 20 years from 1986 to 2011. "[My] go-to foods [were] Spicy Cheetos and Cool Ranch Doritos," she said, according to People.

The Oscar nominee confessed her "Aha!" moment finally came when Weight Watchers asked her to join their diet and exercise program last October. "It felt like an intervention from on high," she said, adding she thought, "if they are calling me, I must need help!"
