Nathaniel Marston, an actor most known for his roles on soap operas One Life to Live and As the World Turns, remains in critical condition today after getting in a scary car crash over the weekend.

According to a new report, the 40-year-old TV star was rushed to the hospital on Saturday, Oct. 31 and is now on life support. In the accident, Nathaniel allegedly obtained a broken neck and back among other debilitating injuries.

“Please pray for my son Nathaniel Marston,” the actor’s mother, Elizabeth Jackson, wrote on her Facebook page over the weekend, according to SoapsInDepth.com. “He was in a car accident last night and is in the intensive care on life support. Back and neck broken in several places. Other internal injuries. Please pray that he will recover and walk again.”

Elizabeth continued to provide Nathaniel’s fans with updates on his condition throughout the weekend. “Just spoke to highway patrol and tribal police. In case rumor mill gets going. Nate was sober according to cops. Waiting to speak to [doctor]. Please pray that Nate does not end up a paraplegic… neck broken and… shoulder broken along with all ribs. Collapsed lung and pneumonia. Please please pray for him,” she wrote on Facebook.

Hours later, Elizabeth again took to the social networking site to give another update. “Spoke to Nate’s [doctor]. In all likelihood if he lives he will be paralyzed from the neck down and will not breathe without a ventilator machine. Oh my God please give me strength,” she wrote.
