For Nicole Kidman, just talking about her husband can bring tears to her eyes.
On ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Oct. 30, Nicole opened up about how much Keith Urban means to her, especially as she’s been coping with the death of her beloved father, Tony, who died of a sudden heart attack in Sept.
“Keith has been so good to me,” Nicole shared. “When you have your partner who just literally carries you through a tough time – he’s been amazing. To have my husband step up in that way, it makes me cry.”

It’s not unusual that Keith would support Nicole in her time of need. The loving couple, both 47, have been there for each other since their black-tie wedding in June 2006. In fact, just four months after they said “I Do,” Nicole stood by Keith as he went to the Betty Ford Center to recover from substance abuse.

“They have truly been there for each other through thick and thin,” a friend of Keith’s tells ‘Closer.’ “They have one of the most harmonious relationships in show business.”
Even when the cameras are off of them, the couple’s deep connection shows. One onlooker, who spotted Keith and Nicole at a local Starbucks in Nashville, Tenn., in Oct. tells ‘Closer,’ “They didn’t seem aware that everyone in the room knew who they were. They were so focused on each other and their conversation.”
