You may be familiar with Nicole Kidman's two children from her current marriage to country singer Keith Urban. But did you know the actress also has two adopted kids from her relationship with Tom Cruise?
Though she rarely mentions daughter Isabella, 21, and son Connor, 19 — who primarily lived with their dad following the actors' split in 2001 — she recently opened up about the pair of young adults.
"They are generous, kind and hardworking," Nicole gushed of the duo. "And these are traits that I love to see in my children."
The Grace of Monaco star went on to explain how family comes first in her household. "If it were the choice between my family and Keith, and my career, I wouldn't even bat an eyelid," she shared.
"The most important things to me are the love of our relationship and my children." After the Oscar winner wed Keith in 2006, the pair welcomed two more kids, daughters Sunday, 5, and Faith, 3.
"At this stage of my life, and with time being so precious, the joy I get from us as a family outweighs any joy in any other area of my life, by far," Nicole told The Australian Women's Weekly magazine.
The 46-year-old shared similar sentiments with Britain's the Daily Mail, telling the newspaper she "wouldn't even think twice" about choosing love over her career.
"If [Keith] asked me, no question," Nicole said. "I think love is the core emotion and without that, and I've certainly existed without that in my life, it's a very empty life."
