Nicole Kidman is surprisingly opening up about her divorce from Tom Cruise — 15 years after their high-profile split!
In a candid new interview, the 49-year-old actress revealed it was difficult for her to handle her separation from Tom, 54, and subsequent stardom for appearing in the 2001 movie, Moulin Rouge.

"I was catapulted into huge fame — it all sort of coincided in the sense of that, it was a lot. It was a lot," Nicole said during a recent sit-down with People.

"But I'm so glad I did [everything] and at the same time pushing through that stuff — one, it was a great thing to do because [as] people who have gone through things a lot of the time will tell you 'just day by day' and you push through it," she continued.

"Everyone was just so good to me and was just like 'come-on, off we go, onward' and it's a great life lesson — onward!" the Oscar winner added.

Nicole and Tom — who are parents to two adopted kids, Isabella, 23, and Connor, 21, together — were previously hitched from 1990 until 2001. The actress is now married to country star Keith Urban, with whom she has two daughters, Sunday Rose, 8, and Faith Margaret, 5.
