It's been 13 years since My Big Fat Greek Wedding first hit theaters and stole our hearts — and now a sequel is in the works!
In a new interview, the movie's star, Nia Vardalos, revealed filming for 'Greek Wedding 2' is set to start this summer and dished on why now is the right time to do a sequel.

"The most exciting thing for me is that the entire cast is coming back. Even though we've remained friends over the years and gone for dinners together and seen each other, when we had the table read — about four weeks ago — it was the first time we were all in the same room with the new director all together and I just cried. I thought, 'Wow. I had said no for so long to doing the sequel.' But you really know when it's time, because I feel right about it now," she told 'ET Online.'

Since playing Toula, Nia, 54, has starred in hit films My Life in Ruins, I Hate Valentine's Day and Larry Crowne. The mom-of-one — who is married to Ian Gomez, the actor who played Ian's Best Man in Greek Wedding — most recently appeared in an episode of Marry Me.
