Naomi Campbell’s relationship status won’t stand in her way of becoming a mom!
The 43-year-old supermodel revealed she’s always wanted to be a parent, but it’s her career – not a man – that has kept her from starting a family.
"I do want to have children, whether I have a man or not," Campbell recently explained. But the celeb's hesitation stems from her role in the public eye. "It’s because I’m thinking of the other person and I don’t want to expose them," she said. “It’s a double-edged sword, really."

The British model wouldn’t be the first woman in Hollywood to venture into motherhood solo. Sandra Bullock, Charlize Theron and Sheryl Crow have all adopted children as single mothers.
Campbell's last relationship, with billionaire Vladimir Doronin, ended in spring 2013 after 5 years together.

In her chat with fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg during a SiriusXM Radio Town Hall, the brunette beauty also talked about anorexia in the modeling industry.
"You cannot blame our industry for the body type of women," she argued. “The food issue is a really sensitive subject for me, and it makes me nervous to really talk about it because I've never seen a designer in my whole 28 years say to someone, ‘Go on a diet, lose weight.’”
Ultimately, she told Furstenberg, “You have to be responsible for your own actions. So if you decide you don't want to eat because you feel like you have to be like this, that's all up to you.”
