Country queen Miranda Lambert has been in the music game for 16 years, and yet she still manages to get better and better! Every album is more passionate and exciting, every concert is more dramatic and fun, and every time we see her, she looks slimmer and more gorgeous!
Miranda has been looking better than ever in 2017, but it's all part of a weight loss journey that began four years ago. In 2013, fans first started to notice Miranda shedding pounds, and she didn't want them to think she turned to easy fixes like plastic surgery. "I lost my weight the healthy and good old-fashioned way," she wrote in an open letter to fans. "Watching what I eat and working out with my trainer Bill Crutchfield. As for the assumed number of pounds lost…? I don’t even know! Like I have always said, it’s not about a scale, it’s about how you feel and how your jeans fit. I am proud to be a normal size girl and I want to encourage everyone to be confident at any size."
In 2014, Miranda elaborated on how she stays in such good shape, admitting that she hates veggies and running, so she has to make adjustments that work for her. "I like broccoli with cheese, and carrots with ranch dressing. It's just how I eat," she admitted, though she supplements with a green juice every day. Instead of jogging, Miranda focuses on switching off between running and walking or using her old cheerleading drills.

In 2015, Miranda split from her longtime husband Blake Shelton, which seemed like it might sabotage her diet at first. In January she told a crowd in Chicago that “I got divorced so I started drinking a little extra,” according to Fox News, and usually drinking equals weight gain. However, she seems even happier and healthier now that she has new boyfriend Anderson East in her life. We can't wait to watch her continue to grow and evolve!
